Brief introduction

In many production industries such as building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, and environmental protection, rotary cylinder equipment is used to mechanically, physically, or chemically treat solid materials. Such equipment is called a rotary kiln. Rotary kilns belong to the category of building materials and equipment, and are mostly used in cement production. Later they are widely used in many industrial fields. They can be divided into cement kilns, metallurgical chemical kilns, and lime kilns according to the materials processed. Now they have become the core equipment of enterprise production.

Work principle

When the rotary kiln is in normal operation, the main transmission motor transmits power to the open gear device through the main reducer to drive the rotary kiln. The material enters the kiln from the kiln tail (the advanced body of the barrel) for calcination. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the cylinder, the material rolls in the circumferential direction and moves in the axial direction (from the advanced to the low end). The raw material enters the cooling machine for cooling through the kiln head cover. Fuel is injected into the kiln from the kiln head, and the waste gas generated by the combustion is exchanged with the materials and then discharged from the kiln tail.
