Flotation Speration Plant of Copper Ore

Applicable ore types: copper sulfide ore, copper oxide ore and mixed copper ore (such as copper-lead-zinc ore, copper-zinc ore, copper-molybdenum ore, silver-copper ore, copper-gold ore, etc.). The flotation method is mainly used. If it is a mixed copper ore or copper oxide ore that is difficult to flotation, hydrometallurgy method is often used.

Main flotation plant equipment: jaw crusher, impact crusher/cone crusher, ball mill, spiral classifier, mixing barrel, flotation machine, rotary dryer, etc.

Common flotation process: raw ore → primary crushing → secondary crushing → feeding → ball milling → classification → flotation → concentration → drying → copper concentrate.

1. The mined ore will be first crushed by the jaw crusher, and then secondly crushed by the jaw crusher/impact crusher/cone crusher.

2. The ore crushed to a reasonable particle size will be evenly sent to the ball mill by the hoist and vibrating feeder, and then the crushed ore will be ground by the ball mill.

3. The spiral classifier uses the principle that the solid particles have different specific gravity and different precipitation speeds in the liquid to clean and classify the ore fine material mixture that has been ground by the ball mill.

4. The flotation machine will add different drugs according to different mineral characteristics to separate the copper concentrate from other substances.

5. Since the separated concentrate contains a large amount of water, it needs to be preliminarily concentrated by the thickener, and then dried by a rotary dryer to obtain dry copper concentrate.
