In the past decade, the national demand for sand and aggregate has been in a state of fluctuating decline, from 18.144 billion tons in 2013 to 15.885 billion tons in 2022. In 2022, affected by the carry-over of the previous epidemic and the rebound of the epidemic at the end of the year, the demand for sand and gravel decreased significantly compared with 2021, by 10.94%. At present, China's sand market has been transformed from an incremental market to a stock market. In the post-epidemic era, with the economic recovery and under the background of the country vigorously promoting the high-quality development of infrastructure construction, the annual demand for sand and gravel across the country slowly began to rebound.

The production project is located in Shuangxi, is a granite crushing production line under China Railway, the production line design of 260t/h, a total of more than 20 sets of crushing, screening and shaping equipment. The finished material produces machine-made sand, No. 5-10 sand, No. 10-20 sand, and No. 16-31.5 sand.

The production of sand and aggregate is mainly divided into mining, crushing, screening and shaping sand making several links, generally according to the characteristics of raw materials, system scale, site layout conditions, system technology and other equipment selection, the main equipment involved are crusher, vibrating screen, sand making machine, auxiliary equipment are sand washing machine, belt conveyor, feeder, stone powder recovery equipment, water supply equipment and dust collector.

Generally speaking, for large sand aggregate production lines, the main equipment, such as coarse crusher, medium and fine crusher, pre-screening and screening equipment, etc. should be more than 2 sets as far as possible, which is conducive to improving the reliability of the system and convenient maintenance.

The raw material is fed into the vibrating feeder by the forklift for feeding operation. The bulk hard rock material is fed evenly by a vibrating feeder and then into the jaw crusher for the first crushing.

The machine sand is obtained by using sand making machine for fine crushing. The impact sand making machine has three functions of crushing, sand making and shaping, and the fineness modulus is adjustable and controllable, making the product excellent particle shape, reasonable grading, cube, and very low needle flake content; High packing density and uniform gradation.

The crushed raw material is screened by vibrating screen to obtain machine-made sand and sand of different sizes. Because the customer has high requirements for machine-made sand, it needs to be cleaned and dehydrated by the sand washing machine to obtain high-quality machine-washed sand.

With the continuous development of the economy, the exploitation of natural sand and stone resources over the years, natural sand and stone with less and less consumption, resulting in a shortage of natural sand and stone on the market, followed by soaring prices.

Therefore, the gradual use of mechanical sand instead of river sand, the price of mechanical sand is cheap, through the sand making machine and other ancillary equipment processing into sand, the finished product is more regular, according to different process requirements, processing into different rules and sizes of sand, more able to meet daily needs.

Machine-made sand has two advantages:

1, price advantage, sufficient supply, which is one of the reasons for the popularity of machine-made sand. The price of natural sand is soaring, and there is a shortage of mechanical sand as an ideal substitute for natural sand. From the strict requirements of engineering construction, mechanical sand has more advantages than natural sand in cement, construction engineering and other fields because of mixing some stone powder.

2, stable quality, quality control, through professional crushing and sand making equipment produced by the mechanism of sand, grain shape, grading, stone powder content and other aspects have strict control, quality is more stable than river sand, more uniform grading, can fully meet the needs of commercial mixing station, dry mixed mortar and various construction projects.
